Holds a New York State Speech and Language Disabilities Certification. Is licensed by New York State as a Speech/Language Pathologist, or is working toward licensure. Possesses comprehensive knowledge pertaining to speech/language development, as well as the evaluation and intervention/remediation of communication disorders. Demonstrates a solid understanding of data-driven intervention. Demonstrates integrity, honesty, a lifelong commitment to learning, as well as strong written and oral communication skills. Is skilled at establishing positive working relationships. Alternatives and/or additions to the above qualifications may be made as the Superintendent and Board of Education find appropriate.
